1. Overview

Our Block is a web-based platform, operated by Mandate, that enables land-use consultants and residents to engage in structured, transparent dialogue about proposed development projects. These terms govern your use of the platform.

2. Use of the Platform

You agree to use Our Block only for lawful purposes and in accordance with the moderation policy and these terms. You must not:

• •Submit content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringing.
• •Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform or other users' accounts.
• •Use the platform to harass, threaten, or stalk any person.

3. Intellectual Property

All content submitted by residents remains your property. By submitting content to Our Block, you grant the platform and the project consultant a non-exclusive license to use, display, and archive that content.

4. Limitation of Liability

Our Block is provided "as is." We make no warranty that the platform will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, Mandate and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

5. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mandate and its operators from any claims, damages, or costs arising from your violation of these terms or your use of the platform.

6. Termination

Mandate may suspend or terminate your access to the platform at any time for violation of these terms or the moderation policy, with or without notice.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the project is located (or as specified by the consultant team). This is a placeholder; a real agreement must specify the jurisdiction clearly.
